The Sma<\/strong>rtDancer File Copier<\/strong> is designed to be used with SmartDancer ANIMESH and SmartDancer POSEBALLS.\u00a0 \u00a0Avatars sit on our special SmartDancer poseballs.<\/p>\n

SmartDancer File Copier was created to make full and partial updates easier to handle.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If there is an update to the SmartDancer Controller<\/strong>, you will get a full new SmartDancer Controller<\/strong> with updated scripts and notecards.<\/p>\n

The only difference in contents between an ANIMESH and a POSEBALL is that the POSEBALL has one EXTRA script called ArtistePoseBallSit<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The description field<\/strong> controls with animesh and\/or poseballs whill be updated.\u00a0 You can specify A-R<\/strong><\/span> for ALL or J-R<\/span><\/strong> for a subset of 9 or A-I<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

You might be using A-I for normal Artiste Performance HUD<\/strong> duties and saving J-R<\/span><\/strong> for SmartDancer, in which case you would specify J-R<\/strong> <\/span>in the description field of the SmartDancer File Copier<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nCopyAnims
\n<\/strong>
\nThis is the button\/feature you will likely use most often.\u00a0 By restricting yourself to only using copyable animations, you can easily copy animations that you have places into your SmartDancer FileCopier<\/strong> into ALL<\/strong> of the animesh\/poseballs whose names are:
\nArtistePalette_01_?<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0 where ?<\/strong><\/span> = the letters in the range of the letters you placed in the SmartDancer FileCopier description field.<\/p>\n

1 – Animations that are NOT<\/strong>\u00a0copyable<\/b><\/span>\u00a0will not be copied<\/p>\n

2 – Animations that are already there (in animesh\/poseball) will NOT<\/strong> <\/span>have another animation of the same name copied that often creates a rename animation like:\u00a0 \u00a0Dance 1 1<\/strong>, assuming there is an animation called Dance 1 already there<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nCopyScripts<\/strong><\/p>\n

This feature copies all scripts inside the SmartDancer FileCopier that DO NOT<\/span><\/strong> begin with *AA_<\/strong><\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Be sure to copy the notecard called *smartdancer<\/span> and *filemanager<\/span> notecards into all Animesh and Poseballse BEFORE<\/span> you copy scripts, if there is\u00a0 not one already there. This will avoid needless error messages.\u00a0 For first time installation\/creation of workable animesh\/poseballs, know that animations will not copy unless there is the Filemanager script and *filemanager nc inside.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The SmartDancer FileCopier<\/strong> tells the animesh\/poseball to DELETE<\/strong> <\/span>existing scripts that match scripts that are to be copied before it copies the new script.<\/p>\n

You can use the handy CopyNotes<\/span> button\/feature on the SmartDancer FileCopier.\u00a0 Be aware that it will copy ALL notecards that are inside so only have what you want copied inside.<\/strong><\/p>\n

1 – Scripts that are NOT\u00a0<\/strong>copyable<\/b><\/span> will not be copied.
\n<\/strong>
\nYou will need to RESET your SmartDancer Controller after new scripts are copied to Animesh\/Poseballs. <\/strong>This will properly reset the Animesh and Poseballs and initialize them ready for use.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This will copy ALL notecards inside the SmartDancer FileCopier to the Animesh\/Poseballs with inside<\/p>\n

\nKillMyAnims<\/strong><\/p>\n

This feature will DELETE<\/strong> <\/span>all animations inside the SmartDancer FileCopier.\u00a0 This prepares it to load in one or more NEW animations for copying.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>
\nThese might be handy for cleaning up new mesh that come with scripts and\/or animation<\/p>\n

After files are copied into animesh\/poseballs then its time
\nto configure<\/strong> <\/span>them prior to resetting the SmartDancer Controller.<\/strong><\/p>\n
