{"id":1875,"date":"2019-10-29T18:33:59","date_gmt":"2019-10-30T00:33:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/artistedancediva.co.uk\/wp\/?p=1875"},"modified":"2021-01-23T03:05:41","modified_gmt":"2021-01-23T10:05:41","slug":"animesh-101-introduction-and-how-to-for-artiste-integration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/artistedancediva.co.uk\/wp\/?p=1875","title":{"rendered":"ANIMESH 101 &#8211; Introduction and How To for Artiste Integration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From my early understanding, ANIMESH is a mesh object that can be animated.\u00a0 It can obey inserted scripts.<\/p>\n<p>You can <strong>attach<\/strong> it or <strong>rez<\/strong> it.<\/p>\n<p>I finally got animated objects (Animesh) to work with our <strong>Artiste Performance HUD.\u00a0<\/strong> Very intricate endeavor.<\/p>\n<p>Animated objects (Animesh) also work with our <strong>SmartDancer<\/strong>, allowing it to move in formation with other <strong>Animesh<\/strong> and\/or normal avatars.<\/p>\n<p>Theoretically, <strong>Animesh<\/strong> can ALSO be a Palette and be moved as well.\u00a0 The SD Palette script IS a modified Artiste Palette script.<\/p>\n<p>Because it hosts embedded scripts, it can do everything Artiste tools do except handle permissions.\u00a0 Permissions are <strong>assumed<\/strong> because you* <strong>own<\/strong> the animated object.<\/p>\n<p>NOTE: <strong>Animesh<\/strong> do <strong>NOT<\/strong> have to be animated.\u00a0 They can instead be operated upon without animating by using scripts<\/p>\n<p>RULES for USING with our <strong>Artiste Performance HUD<\/strong> are STRICT with regards to DANCING with Animesh dancers in a <strong>group<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>First <strong>buy<\/strong> at least a MOD <strong>Animesh<\/strong> and preferably <strong>COPY\/MOD<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Unlike, avatars, as of this writing. <strong>Animesh<\/strong> need to have <strong>animations loaded into them.<\/strong>\u00a0 If they are the only ones (no avatars) using the animations, then those animations don&#8217;t need to be loaded into the HUD. <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">UPDATE 01\/23\/21 we now have poseballs that avatars can sit on that can have animations in them so animations never HAVE to be loaded into the Performance HUD.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Above all <strong>INSURE<\/strong> you have <strong>DancersInGroup<\/strong> set properly.\u00a0 Total of <strong>Animesh<\/strong> + <strong><strong>Avatars<\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>*smartdancer<\/strong> notecard is used for <strong>SmartDancer<\/strong> and must be inside your Animesh.\u00a0 Be sure to adjust the\u00a0<strong>PaletteHeightOffset<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>TRACE,off<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>ColorHead,off<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>PaletteHeightOffset,1.0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>ChannelForSmartDancerFollower,-897434670<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><strong><strong>END<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>In the <strong>*sequences<\/strong> nc add <strong>Animesh<\/strong> to the end.<br \/>\n<strong><strong><strong>Animesh,on<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>In the <strong>*sequences<\/strong> nc add <strong>AnimeshTrace<\/strong> to the end.<br \/>\n<b><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">AnimeshTrace,on<\/span>.\u00a0<\/b> I suggest leaving this on while you are getting familiar with Animesh, as it provide <b><b>information\u00a0on what is going on.<\/b><\/b><\/li>\n<li>Copy the\u00a0<strong>Animesh Receiver<\/strong> 1.6 script into the Animesh.
