Artiste SmartDancer<\/strong> has recently (Mid November 2020)\u00a0 gone thru a major modification to allow up to 18<\/strong> <\/span>dancers, (up from 9)…in a combination of animesh and avatars.<\/p>\n

Important:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0 This new feature has caused the Controller to be renamed from PE18j-r<\/strong><\/span> to PE18a-r<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

You can now create Animesh and\/or Poseballs named ArtistePalette_01_A<\/strong>\u00a0 thru ArtistePalette_01_I.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Targeting<\/strong> <\/span>now allows for inclusion of letters A thru I<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

all<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>is a new shortcut that equals: abcdefghijklmnopqr<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Now that we have added A thru I there will be more short-cuts<\/strong> <\/span>coming.<\/p>\n

The FORM <\/strong><\/span>command has changed.\u00a0 There are now 3 FORM<\/strong> commands and the old FORM<\/strong> command has been retired.<\/p>\n

FORMJR<\/span> – Formation change applies only to ArtistePalette_01_J<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>thru ArtistePalette_01_<\/span>R<\/span>.
\n<\/strong>
\nFORMAI<\/span>– A formation change will only apply to ArtistePalette_01<\/span>_A<\/span> thru ArtistePalette_01_I<\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

FORMALL – A formation change will apply to ALL animesh\/poseballs from to ArtistePalette_01_A thru ArtistePalette_01_R.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

There is a new field on the *channels nc<\/strong> inside the Controller. Example:<\/strong>
\nDefaultForms,LINEBLK,SINGLEFILE<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

NOTE: In example above, JR formation is LINEBLK and AI formation is SINGLEFILE<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

You always need at least the 1st formation<\/strong> name (in the example above this would be LINEBLK<\/strong><\/span>) other wise the 1st formation loaded will always be the last formation<\/span><\/strong>.\u00a0 This 1st<\/strong> formation is used to initialize the formation upon reset<\/strong> for animesh\/poseballs J thru R.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The second<\/strong> formation name will be used to initialize the formation of animesh\/poseballs A thru I, upon reset, IF you are using A thru I.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Some SmartDancer<\/strong> features, especially those in the Controller, will still only work on J thru R<\/strong><\/span> so sometimes it is beneficial to rename animesh\/poseballs, temporarily.<\/p>\n

Two new commands perform a series of commands to accomplish this:
\nActivateAI<\/strong> <\/span>and
\nActivateJR
\n<\/strong><\/span>
\nThere are buttons for these on the new Expansion<\/span> <\/strong>Menu.<\/p>\n

IMPORTANT:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong> Copy<\/strong> <\/span>the animesh\/poseball name<\/strong> into the description field for each animesh\/poseball.\u00a0 NOTE: This is now done for you when you follow the AUTOMATIC procedure for creating animesh and poseballs.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

is renames the Controller using the name in the description field<\/p>\n

************<\/p>\n

A new state called AutoJune<\/strong> <\/span>allows you to specify whether or not you want Junes<\/strong> to automatically complete by re-issuing the current formation.\u00a0 AutoJune<\/strong> <\/span>on is the default but there is a command, AutoJune<\/strong><\/span>,(on\/off) <\/span><\/strong>where you can change this function on the fly.\u00a0 This allows for even more creativity by Juning<\/strong> out of one formation and into another.<\/p>\n

But its main purpose is to allow for better synchronization of Juning<\/strong> more than 9 dancers by delaying the 1st formation June and issuing both formation commands at or near the same time after the Controller has been rotated.<\/p>\n
