Hybrid<\/strong> <\/span>is a methodology<\/span> <\/strong>for using an SD poseball<\/strong> as an Artiste Palette.<\/strong>\u00a0 The catch is that it can only be one or the other<\/span><\/strong> but not both at the same time.\u00a0 The way it works is that which ever one is enabled, disables the other one.\u00a0 We are talking about enabling and disabling scripts.<\/p>\n

You can SKIP to where steps are listed #1 THRU #7 where it says:

The following just offers some background and describes what need to be done that I have tried to automate<\/span> <\/strong>using the File Copier<\/strong> and Replicator<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

You need to add a script called *AA_ArtisteHybrid v?.?
\n?.?<\/strong><\/span> will be the latest version of that Hybrid script.\u00a0 Add this to the SmartDancer poseball.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Remember that for poseballs to work with SmartDancer<\/strong><\/span>, they need to have their normal scripts installed as well:

\n*AA_FileManager (optional) can be removed using TrimScripts on Replicator for show time.

Your initialization<\/strong><\/span> and installation<\/strong><\/span> should look similar to the screen below, allowing for different dates and versions.<\/p>\n

It is strongly suggested that you first create a palette<\/strong>.
\nSet the anchor<\/span> <\/strong>on top or bottom of your SmartDancer Controller<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Next, set the\u00a0 Initial Offset of your Hybrid (combination of Artiste Palette and SmartDancer Poseball).\u00a0 Or course be sure Moveable is\u00a0 on. Moveable,on<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

My HYBRID Installation Methodology is as follows:<\/span>
\n<\/strong>
\n1 – Copy PinMe <\/span>script into poseball named <\/span>ArtistePalette_01_A, This script will be found in your Accessories Box.
\n<\/strong>
\n<\/span><\/strong>2 –\u00a0 Be sure to TOUCH<\/span> the poseball in order for PinMe to execute. It will delete itself after it runs.\u00a0 This functions in the same way as the Multi-Rezzer Object Pin,<\/span> allowing scripts to be copied from one object to another.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n3 – Run Initialize the File Copier<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

4 – Run Install from the File Copier<\/p>\n

Replicator has a feature to install Palette Scripts<\/span> & Palette Notecards<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\nNOTE:<\/span> *palette<\/span> has<\/strong>
\nAnchorName,ArtisteAnchor<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nBlankTexture,off<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nColor,none<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

5 – Run PALnotecards<\/span> from Replicator<\/span>. This installs all Palette ncs inside the Replicator except *canonoverrides.\u00a0 I have included the *hybrid nc for your convenience.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

You need<\/strong> SmartDancer Animesh Replicator – v2.02 <\/span>or later.<\/strong><\/p>\n

NOTE:\u00a0 TrimScripts is automatically run, prior to notecards for Palettes being copied otherwise the copy would fail because one of the scripts that will be removed rejects more than a total of 2 notecards being copied into an animesh\/poseball as part of the Initialization verification process.\u00a0 No harm is done because the 2 scripts removed are only necessary for installing script updates or copying animations. etc.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

6 – Run PALscripts\u00a0<\/span>from Replicator<\/span>. This installs all Palette scripts\u00a0 inside the Replicator that begin with Artiste<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This is what my poseball looks like after I run PALscripts<\/span> <\/strong>from the Replicator<\/span>. See below.<\/p>\n

All Artiste scripts are disabled (set to NOT RUNNING) except, of course, for the Hybrid script (Artiste Hybrid).\u00a0 It is the script that will enable and disable the other scripts (SD and PAL)<\/p>\n

Now after you have ArtistePalette_01_A<\/span><\/strong> setup for Hybridization<\/strong>, simply use the replicator to reproduce it as many times as needed.<\/p>\n

7 – Test SD-Only<\/span> mode by pressing HybridSD button<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

8 – Test PAL-Only<\/span> mode by pressing HybridPAL button<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

SD-Only<\/span><\/strong> mode can ALSO be engaged by using the HybridSD<\/strong> command in AutoFX and using ArtistePerformance HUDs<\/span> <\/strong>dated

\nPE04 – Artiste – Performance HUD RC7A-v12.31-Animesh\/SD<\/span> 8.01<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

PAL-Only<\/span> mode can also be engaged from the SmartDancer Controller by issuing a HybridPAL command on a sequence nc.\u00a0 You just need a controller with a minimum version of:
\nPE18a-r – Artiste SmartDancer – Controller – v12.17 – RC7
