Ranges and Targets<\/strong><\/h1>\n

A range consists of a starting and ending letter in the range of A<\/span> thru R<\/span>, where subsequent actions become effectual.\u00a0 \u00a0 It can use the hyphen as a separator.\u00a0 Example: K-N.<\/span><\/strong>
\nOr it can SOMETIMES be explicit;\u00a0 \u00a0KLMN<\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are 4 places where RANGES can be specified.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Three of them are involved in creating your animesh:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1 – FileCopier<\/strong><\/span>
\n2 – Replicator
\n<\/strong>3 –\u00a0 SmartDancer Controller<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

These 3 always use the hyphenated version.\u00a0 R<\/b>anges for the <\/b>FileCopier<\/span><\/strong> and <\/b>Replicator<\/span><\/strong> are specified in the <\/b>Description<\/strong> <\/span>fields. .\u00a0 It is good practice to specify a single letter range thusly:
\nExample: J-J<\/span>.<\/b><\/p>\n

\n<\/span><\/span><\/strong>Changing the SmartDancer Controller range:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

An exterior range is specified in the SmartDancer Controller<\/span> by changing the 5th<\/span> and 6th<\/span> position of the object-name using lower-case letters. Valid letters are a<\/span> thru r<\/span>.\u00a0 This range can be further delimited during the execution<\/span> phase by using the Target<\/span> command<\/span>. Target specifies a range for which subsequent actions will\u00a0affect.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Example:\u00a0 PE18j-r<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Press the Reset <\/span>button on the SmartDancer Controller<\/span><\/span> after changing its name<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nThen as a precaution, press the Reset<\/span> button.<\/strong>
\nYour new range should show up in the<\/strong>
\nHoverText as confirmation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n


\nYou must MANUALLY<\/span> change the DESCRIPTION<\/span> field in the replicator.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

After changing the description field, you must press the Reset<\/span> button.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Current RANGE to REPLICATE or KILL or CLEAN: ==> N-P<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

REPLICATE<\/span> makes copies of the embedded Animesh inside the replicator<\/strong><\/p>\n

KILL_MESH<\/span> deletes the Animesh.<\/strong><\/p>\n

CLEAN_MESH<\/span> deletes the contents of the animesh without deleting the Animesh<\/strong><\/p>\n
